Tidewater Ferries
A new identity and wayfinding system for a family-run ferry company.
The brief
Tidewater had grown from two boats to nine, and every boat, ticket and sign looked different. They needed one clear identity that passengers could follow from the car park to the deck.
The idea
We built the system around the tide table: a simple grid, a single typeface and a set of signal colours borrowed from maritime flags.
The result
The new identity is on every vessel, ticket and timetable. The crew finally have a uniform they like wearing.
