A school website parents remember.
Quad is a twelve page website for private and independent schools, with a fee estimator, a calendar, a year group finder and search. Plain HTML, yours to keep, with no monthly fee.
Instant download. One payment. Use it for client sites too.
Built for the way a school works.
Your school colours
Change four values and every button, band, link and the crest follow, in the light theme and the dark one. Try it on the live demo.
Your region, in one word
South Africa, the United Kingdom or the United States. Year groups, currency, the school year and terms all follow.
One file runs the year
Open days, term dates, events, news, fees, staff, clubs and policies live in one file. Every page updates from it.
A fee estimator
Parents add each child, choose day or boarding and any extras. The sibling discount is worked out, and the estimate prints.
Which year would my child join?
A date of birth gives the year group and the next entry points, using your own cut-off date.
A real calendar
A month view with school holidays marked, filters by category, and an add to calendar file for every event.
Search
News, events, people, clubs, documents and pages, from one search box.
A step by step guide
A PDF takes the school office from the zip file to a live website.
Questions
Do we need a developer?
You need someone comfortable editing text in a file and uploading a folder to a web host. A PDF guide walks through it step by step. There is no site builder.
Is there a login to edit the site?
No. The calendar, news and fees are edited by hand in one file, and there is no content management system. That suits a school office that updates the site a few times a week. If you need staff logins and approvals, this is not the right product.
Do the forms work?
Yes. By default a form opens the visitor's email app with the message filled in. To send from the page instead, paste in a form address from a service such as Formspree.
Are the photographs included?
No. The demo photographs are placeholders. Replace them with your own, following your school's policy on photographs of pupils.
Can we use it for more than one school?
Yes. One payment covers as many sites as you build, for yourself or for clients. You may not resell the template itself.
How was it made?
It was built with AI coding tools under the direction of The Black Greg, a design studio in South Africa, and checked by hand on phones and desktops.
Quad, for $400.
