Nursery and pre-school, 3 months to 5 years
Little people. Big days.
Wren House is a small, family-run nursery where the garden door is always open, lunch is cooked from scratch, and the grown-ups know your child by heart.
- 7:30am to 6:00pm, 51 weeks a year
- Funded hours welcome
Hello, we are Wren House
A nursery that feels like home.
Fifty-two children, three rooms and one big garden. Small enough that every adult knows every child, and every child knows where the wellies live.
- One key person for your child, from the first settling-in visit
- The garden is open all day, in every weather
- Breakfast, lunch and tea cooked here each morning
- Photographs and a note about their day, every day
Three rooms, one for every stage.
Children move up when they are ready, not on a birthday, and always with a friend.

From hello circle to home time
What does a day look like?
It is the first thing every parent asks, so we wrote it all down: the routine, the naps, and this week's menu.
In their words
What parents tell us.
“She runs in without looking back, which broke my heart for a week and has made my mornings ever since.”
Amelia, mum of Edie in The Burrow “They knew he liked his toast cut in triangles before I thought to tell them.”
Kwame, dad of Kofi in The Nest “He started school able to put his own coat on and tell a whole story. That is all down to The Treetops.”
Sian, mum of Osian, now at school
Clear fees, no surprises.
Meals, nappies and sun cream are all included. Tell us your sessions and we will show you a monthly figure, with funded hours taken off.
From the journal.
Come and play.
Nothing tells you more than an hour in the garden with us. Bring your little one, and wellies.
